This sculpture was made to bring attention to the senseless poaching that goes on in Africa that has decimated the rhino population. From the beginning of time people have been immersed in the history, traditions, and beliefs of those that came before them. From those beginnings came the myths that codified what many of us believe today. Each generation has had rebels and artists that have attempted to find their own voice within the context of the humanity they live in. My statements or art objects are attempts to focus humanity on compassion, which I believe is a higher form of understanding.
